chateauneufdupape
I am looking for a large spa and am considering several brands including Artesian Bimini, Arctic Summit or Tundra, Coyote Chieftan Jacuzzi 400 series, D1 Amore, Vision Hydrus, Spaform Prestige 75 and Cal Spas Escape Extreme. I can't seem to find much info on the quality of Cal Spas. http://www.calspas.com/ , Vision (Spa Crest) http://www.visionhottubs.com/vision.asp Spaform http://www.spaform.com/index.php I have had a cheap spa before and want something of high quality, easy to maintain and good support if there are problems or questions that I have. Any comments welcome. I would like to narrow down my choices before I start wet testing. N.B. I live in the UK.

You already have some quality spas on your list in the Arctic Spas, D1, and the Jacuzzi. Some other quality spas you might look at to compare would be HS, Sundance, and Marquis. Those are all some of the best spas manufactures that many on here would recommend. You may find out what all of those brands are in your area, do some research on your local dealers, and go out and check them out. Then try to schedule some wet tests to help make your decision. Good luck in your search.

They are a bear to work on and if they are still using GE motors stay away

Any comments welcome. I would like to narrow down my choices before I start wet testing. N.B. I live in the UK. Before I bought my spa I tested both the Arctic Tundra and Summit. I went with the Tundra due to the fact it "felt" like a much larger tub and less confined even though they both have the same outer dimensions. I love the Tundra and I have had no problems at all so far. I've had the tub since about mid April. I have a Tundra LE with Deluxe Northern Lights, Therapy Air and no Onzen(just Arctic Ozone). As far as Arctic customer service.....the verdict is still out. Just my 2 cents.
spatech (the unreal one)
Waterboy - Thanks for the feedback. I will check out Marquis, Sundance and Hotsprings. ps558 - Thanks for the warning. I'm not sure what you have in your area but here in the US there are a few good spa makers. Since I have no idea what possibilities you have where you are I'd suggest you start on-line with a long list like Arctic, Artesian, Beachcomber, Caldera, D1, Hot Spring, Jacuzzi, Marquis and Sundance. After using their websites to see who might be local to you visit as many as you can, narrow it down to 3 or so dealers that you like and wet test the models you like. Take your time. I live near Reading if you are within a reasonable distance I can give you the names and addresses of dealers for La Spa, Sundance, Dimension 1 and Hotspring who are all within a twenty minute drive from me, there is also a dealer on the South coast who sells Monarch and Spaform.
