Sch 40 Pvc Fittings Ok For Hot Tub?

I have searched everywhere and kind find a straight answer. Can i use sch 40 pvc fittings from Lowes for my hot tub. I had to re-plumb for my new spa pack. Anyone have the correct answer?

PVC Schedule 40 pipe and fittings is intended for pressure applications where the operating temperature will not exceed 140 ° F.

CPVC Schedule 80 pipe and Schedule 80 fittings system is intended for pressure applications where the operating temperature will not exceed 200 ° F.

Yes, schedule 40 fittings will work just fine.

The answer is: Yes, the schedule 40 will work just fine.

If you are using flex pipe, I recommend that you allow the glue 8 hours to set before pressurizing.

Thanks, all the ones i bought are made by Lasco though.

Lasco is OK. They are not high end fitting manufacturers but they make a fine product.
