philodog
When I hit the Clean or Jets button the pump tries to start about 6 times before it finally kicks in and goes. Is this a pump motor capacitor problem? And if so, where is it located? Thanks!
ratchett
How old is the hot tub? Can you hear the relay click on when you press the jets button or does it sound different? What happens when you actually press the button? Does it make any sounds? Have you tried to remove the filter and see if the problem persists? philodog
It is a 2007. Filter is fine, circ pump works great. I attached a short video if what happens. THanks. 1761903107_Spapumpvideo.mp4

THanks. 1761903107_Spapumpvideo.mp4 To me that sounds like maybe a failing capacitor which isn't producing enough juice to fully start up the motor. But I could be wrong. @RDspaguy or @CanadianSpaTech - what does that sound like to you?
RDspaguy
Centrifugal switch/start switch. Inside the motor on the rear shaft behind the rear plate.
