  1. I have noticed it produced some visible vapors when I do it incorrectly.
  2. When I add muriatic acid, it’s always less than an ounce. I just add water to the 1/2 oz acid and fill up the measuring cup to 8 ounces and add with jets running. Is that ok?
  3. Yes, I got a print out. They took the sample and went into a room. My test results were different than theirs. LOL He told me not to be concerned with phosphates till they got over 2000 ?? I would “never” go by their recommendations. Just hoping others watching will see the value in doing their own testing with good test kits and advice recommended here.
  4. For kicks I took in a water sample to my dealer this morning. Interesting results. Their CH was 80. My test 150. Their Alk 76. Mine 60. Their CYA 45. Mine 30. Their pH 7.9. Mine 7.6. They said my phosphates were 950??? Is that bad? I haven’t googled it.
  5. What I was trying to say is one drop causes the color change. 1 drop equates to .5 ppm. This morning I used 5 drops for a 2.5 ppm Cl
  6. Isn’t this one of the “good” Cl test? https://tftestkits.net/FAS-DPD-Chlorine-Test-Kit-p47.html This is the one that turns from pink to clear in one drop.
  7. Two of my test kits use "yellow" as the color when trying to determine chlorine ppm and another uses "pink" as the reference color. I see they take different reagents but what exactly am I checking. Is one better than the other? Why would I use one over the other?
  8. LOL. I have no idea what that is. My mistake....
  9. Go to TFTestkits.net lightning fast and have a sale going on now.
  10. One thing I read on the internet is that 70% of first time buyers get a recliner and 70% of second time buyers don’t get a tub with a recliner. Food for thought. Also, please go sit in them before you purchase. You and anyone else that will be using it. Different brands will fit your body differently. My wife and I were settled on one of the brands mentioned above. We just sat in it dry and it was too upright for us. I spent way too much time looking for quality FIRST. But if it’s uncomfortable, what good is quality? I wish I’d have sat in all of those mentioned above first and then evaluated the quality and dealer second.
  11. I wish I had an owners manual. You may be correct.
  12. I have a Wellis Paris with a separate recirculation pump. Last night after I filled it for the first time, the pump ran all the time up until I went to bed. This morning it is not running. I thought the recirculation pump was set to run continuously. Does is just run when the heater is on? Just trying to learn.
