sad hot tub
Hi all, Just changed the topside control so I can read the code 'HOT". I haven't found any info on this, anyone out there experience this code? What are the likely causes or troubleshooting tips? Nothing in the Marquis owners manual on this code. RDspaguy
Need pics of your circuit board and equipment so we know what you have in there. Hot, OH, and such are often the result of a flow issue. Remove the filter and see if it clears the error. Give detailed description of what it does when you turn on the spa. When the HOT comes up is a clue.

When the HOT comes up is a clue. When I power up (circuit breaker), it goes through power up cycle (240v, etc) then displays HOT. None of the control buttons work/respond. CanadianSpaTech
The only time I have seen a "hot" error code was on a Jacuzzi and it indicated the PCB was overheating that was due to a ventilation problem.
RDspaguy
Yep, that looks to be a balboa, and @CanadianSpaTechhas it right. A pic of the circuit board in the gray box and the sticker on the top of the box will help find the exact system.
