bluebelle
hi there, I've noticed after parties that I get a lot of debris at the bottom of the spa. Is it good to get a spa vacuum or just use a net? thanks in advance, bluebelle
waterbear
I like a spa wand. It is a hand pumped vacuum that is easy to use and does a good job. Some come with various attachments but they are not necessary,

AnneM
I just use a piece of hose as a syphon.
waterbear
The advantage of a spa wand is that you do no remove any water from the spa since it does not work on a syphon.
luv2spa
Hey Bluebelle, I love using what I call my Momma's Gun! ....that is my watergun giant blaster that is typically used on float trips, lake time, and water fights. It is about 3' long, (can stand outside of tub and reach center with it) just put the end of the gun where the debris is on bottom. seats, filter hole thing----pull back to fill the barrel and shoot it out onto your plants or grass! It's Cheap, does well in extremely cold temperatures- (had mine 4 yrs, still not cracked or broke) Love It! Great for when I do a complete drain to get that little bit out of seats and very bottom of tub. Save money, have fun too!

north_of_boston
What waterbear said ... I don't need the net very often in the summer - but in the autumn and early winter, stuff falls off the trees -- so I use both. Mostly the spa wand because feet track in the dirt...
