  1. ok.. do you know what I can do to deal with the overstabilation? And how long does it take to get overstabilised?
  2. I thought it was the same stuff.. at radically different prices!
  3. yes.. I am finding that dichlor is SO much better than bromine!.. I will never go back to bromine!
  4. just a few close friends, swimming cossies and good conversation
  5. I am looking online,to buy dichlor, and 5kg goes for as cheap as 10 pounds, or up to 27 pounds .I am wondering if there are different grades of dichlor, or is it all the same stuff? Thanks in advance, bluebelle.
  6. I wondered how many of you are single, and use the tub alone? I do have the odd hot tub party, but mostly I'm in it alone. It's my favourite time of the day!
  7. thank you for the reply.. I have had a tub before this one, and i have problems with cloudy water, with bromine and problems with too high/ low bromine, plus i have excema, so that's the reason I wanted to try some extras to make sure i have sparkling and non irritating water. I didn't like bromine,( the smell, and the water seemed harsher) so I'm sticking with dichlor, and I won't be perchasing any more aquafinesse when that's gone, as it is way to expensive, and I still have excema. So I need either a nature 2 or a frog mineral, as i don't have ozone, but i'm put off the nature 2 after this incident.I don't mean to sound like i'm going to try everytthing... eco one, baqua, enzymes ect!, I'm just looking for a bit of back up to the dichlor.
  8. I bought a nature2 cartridge to use with diclor in my new spa, and within 12 hours there are lots of silver/ grey bits coming out of it. is that normal or was it broken ? I have binned it, and am now going to try the spa frog without the bromine cartridge, but I still have all these bits floating around the spa.. now i really need a spa vacuum!
  9. oh wow! I love that idea! .. thank you for sharing
  10. hi there, I have a new spa and the ph, ta and chlorine is balanced, yet the water is stinging my skin. It also smells chloriny even though i have shocked it . i get excema, and i don't want sore skin! I understand that chloramines are what smell, but everything looks balanced test wise, so I must be doing something wrong. My spa holds 1600 litres of water, and i'm using aquafinesse and diclor, 2tps per person after using, plus im awaiting a nature2 stick, and im using mps to shock once a week. thanks in advance for your replies. bluebelle
  11. hi there, I've noticed after parties that I get a lot of debris at the bottom of the spa. Is it good to get a spa vacuum or just use a net? thanks in advance, bluebelle
  12. I've just found the voyager as another modular spa that will fit my door. They don't look great to be honest, with the jets placed at an angle, and I doubt the jets are very strong, but.. it is portable, moveable and hot! And it has seats. As I said in my last post, my choices are limited due to internal door being only 68 cm wide and being in a rented flat. Any responses greatly apreciated.
