  1. @RDspaguy FORD!... now you have me questioning our friendship... 🤣 A lot of industry folk get pissed and don't like us helping people find their way... and that's why I'm here 😈 F' em. I've worked hard 20+ years and amassed a thimble full of knowledge and I'll do whatever the F I want with it. There are so many lies in this industry to get your money and it's rewarding to cut through the BS and offer an independent perspective. There is a war of sorts with industries (computer, auto, appliance...Spa) to remove the ability to DIY and the "Right to Repair" and we can't let that happen.

  2. Yep, Ford. 2002 f250 7.3l powerstroke diesel (the last good diesel made) 169k miles, so still a baby on this million mile motor.

  3. Then it is just a drain hose. I'd get a 3/4" tee, a slip by female threaded reducer, and a barbed adapter. Parts available at home depot. Just cut it out and redo it.

  5. I'm getting ~10,000 ohms for the two temperature sensors which is consistent with the measured temperature using an external thermometer (https://spacare.com/SensorResistanceValuesForHydroQuipandGecko.aspx) The dry detect is for the flow sensor. The one adjacent is the thermistor and the 2 cabled one is the HL sensor. When you say check the light, presumably you mean SPA light rather than the heater light? The two tapped connections (arguably not very tidy looking!) are just tape around a cube connector for the cables so there is a solid connection there. It's maybe worth pointing out that I'm in europe so on 240V. As an update, the spa has started again this morning and the HL fault has cleared. It's taken a while to get back to this point (circa 2 weeks) which makes me think there's something intermittent somewhere on the board.

  6. Scratch or crack. It makes a big difference. Run your nail across the spot back and forth. If it catches in only one direction it is a crack.

  8. Sorry my friend, you're going to have to call around the different suppliers. There are no suppliers on this forum that I know of. Get them on the phone and ask if they can get it, don't just check the online inventory. I like spadepot.com.

  9. Most owner's manuals are relatively useless. Lots of second-hand owners come onto forums looking for manuals and don't find what they're looking for (things like water care, parts lists, plumbing diagrams, etc are rarely added to the manual) Fortunately most spas use relatively industry standard components and the only real custom items are the shell and cabinet designs. I believe the Keys Backyard spas use Balboa components which are one of the top two brands for spa packs. I suggest starting a new thread - snap some photos of your spa's equipment area, the wiring diagram, and some close-ups of the main board (so the guys can look for signs of damage or possible wiring issues). Ask away in that thread any questions you have in particular, I'm sure one of the regular techs who peruse this forum will chime in with some insight if possible.

  10. I finally spoke to Jacuzzi - from 20093-001, I need to replace the complete jet (back and front) and recommended replacement is 6541-288 with 6541-634 ring. (Note, Jacuzzi had used 6541-566 for a while but that is not what is recommended to replace it with now).
