Manu
Hello friends, I hope you had a great summer. I have a recurring problem with my Hotspring Jetsetter hot tub . When I turn on the jets or the auto-stirring, the hot tub breaks down electrically. I would like to know how to find the problem. Thank you for your help. ratchett
Not quite sure what you mean "breaks down electrically" - do you mean it trips the breaker? Did this start happening after a change to the tub such as wiring changes? Try removing the three filters, does the problem persist?
Manu
Hello, Thanks for your reply. Yes, sorry for the confusion. I meant to say that it trips the breaker. I haven't changed anything in the wiring or anything like that. I tried running the self-stirring without the filters but I have the same issue. When I turn on the jets or the self-stirring, it makes noise, there are no jets, and then it trips the breaker.
cranbiz
Sounds like you have a pump issue. Disconnect the heater and all the pumps and any lights. Turn on the tub and see if the breaker holds. If it does, start connecting things back up one at a time. You will have found the problem when you trip the breaker after reconnecting the offending part.
