ChrisRuck Posted October 14, 2021 Report Posted October 14, 2021 Does anyone have any details and pictures about how to connect electrical connections to an H2x swim spa? I have not received mine yet but I want to be prepared. I do not want to bring power up through the bottom. Is there an access hole for conduit to come through the side? Which side? Master Swim Spas doesn't provide any pictures of the spot it is terminated to and how to pull power into the unit. I have (or will have) an H2x Challenger 15D. Any help or pictures would be appreciated. One more thing. I can bond the rebar in the concrete but before they lay the concrete should I bond directly to the main panel or disconnect or can it be bonded to the pool directly? Quote
RDspaguy Posted October 24, 2021 Report Posted October 24, 2021 Ask you dealer for specs on the wiring access. A portable spa does not require bonding to the pad, as it is all bonded to the control pack in the spa. Quote
arnspa Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 Our H2X is at least 80 feet from our main electric service box. I think this too far to rely on the copper ground rod at the main service, and so I drove a copper ground at the service switch close to the tub. I wish I had tied it into the rebar in the concrete pad, but didn't think of that until after delivery. Quote
