zwill06
I have a down East spa by masterspas #1200875 and have been dealing with my spa tripping the breaker for the last 4 weeks. I initially isolated it to the heater, which was replaced last Friday. The spa then started back up without tripping the breaker, heated up and ran for about 1 day. I then came home and found that it was shut off and the breaker was tripping again. Not sure if I was sold a faulty heater? But I’m trying to figure something else out now. I used a multimeter and the heater tested within range, however I found that the breaker was not reading the correct voltage. Not sure what is going on, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated. ratchett
How old is the filter in your tub? How frequently do you clean it? Try removing or replacing the filter and see if that helps.
RDspaguy
Was the whole heater assembly replaced, or just the element? Does it run for a while or trip as soon as you turn it on?
