lsaks
Hello all! I'm new to the forum and would like to thank you in advance for your time and input. I have an older CalSpa hot tub that has the 2100 topside control panel. The control panel is flashing a zero (or O) and pressing any of the 4 buttons does nothing. I reset the hot tub, no change. I inspected the circuit board (front and back) and do not see any signs of damage. When I manually connect the pump, it works, and there is not tripping caused by the heater. Any suggestions as to what may be causing the control panel to not respond and flash the 0 (or O)? This all happened when I turned my spa on for the first time this season. lsaks
Update to this issue: Finally got a replacement control panel. Once it was installed, I got the same 0 code and nothing works when pressing the buttons on the control panel. Apparently, the problem has not been resolved. Debating if it is worth changing the circuit board, because after checking the board, front and back, there is no visible damage.
RDspaguy
http://balboadirect.com/spa-panel-messages.aspx 0 or O is not an error code on that system. I have no clue what it means. I would first test the incoming voltage to the spa. Next test the sensors with an ohm meter set to 20k ohms, they should be very close to each other. Then check the transformer output. Then unplug the vacuum switches (safety suction) if you have them. If these are all good, you need a new board.
