john shal
hello, hoping someone can help me with this. Last year I had a new raypak heater installed for my inground pool. It worked perfectly. This year prior to opening the pool, I had to have the pump replaced. Now the heater is making a loud, high pitched whining noise. Any help would be appreciated
Pool Clown
New pump may have an increased flow rate. Increased flow through the heater may be causing the high pitched noise you are experiencing. Did you have the pump replaced? or just the motor? Dr. Spa
I've also seen the exact opposite. Low flow through the heater, and the water just starting to boil, making all kinds of noise. Yup, sounds like some kind of flow issue.
