Ready To Buy A Hot Tub...or Not.

Well I am finally prepared to make a hot tub purchase, and have researched many brands online,and visited four local dealers on Cape Cod. I have narrowed it down to the four local dealers,as I want a company that can make repairs if needed. You would think that making my decision would be easy at this point, but it is far from it! Sundance,Hotsprings,Jacuzzi,Nordic,and Artic are the finalist with each having their pros and cons. Any input to help me decide should be greatly appreciated. My head is spinning with what each dealer says, I don't know who to believe, and feel I will have to postpone my decision indefinitely. Help!!!

There have been many problems with Arctic Spas, If it were me, I would do HotSprings or Sundance, both are great tubs, and you won't be disappointed.

I just went through the frustrating selection process myself and I certainly feel your pain. My suggestion would to be to narrow the selection process down by eliminating any dealer(s) that you don't feel comfortable with for whatever reason. Keep in mind that a dealer's ability to provide qualiity service after the sale is a major consideration and argubly more important that brand selection itself. Next, I would decide which product lines fit your budget. Each manufacturer typically has offerings at 3 different price points all with varying levels of options,features and warranty length. Jacuzzi = 200/300/400 series. Sundance = 680/780/880 series. Hot Springs/Limelight/Hotspot. From there you can finalize it to a handful of models depending on personal preferences such as size, lounge or no lounge etc. Then the fun part...Wet Testing!!

The first 3 you listed are common recommendations on this forum. Any one of those combined with a great dealer, you should be good to go. Like everyone says, wet test to select the model you like best.

Sundance/Jacuzzi (same manufacturer) has a much stronger shell than Hot Springs, and the cost of replacement parts are less.

I wouldn't go anywhere near an Arctic, Nordic I'm not familiar with.

Sundance/Jacuzzi and Hot Springs are the top of whats on your list. I believe Nordic makes a quality product but they are not at the same level as the others and while I have no direct experience with Arctic, I think they are a step down from Sundance,Jacuzzi and Hot Springs.

Hot Springs, Jacuzzi and Sundance are 3 of the best choices out there so assuming each dealer is someone that you think would do you well after the sale at this point I'd wet test each and let that be the deciding factor.
