My wife and I are thinking of getting our first hot tub. A dealer where I bought my swimming pool carries the Garden Leisure Series Lustre Series and they are reasonably priced and would be nice to buy local. I am also planning on going to a Hotspring dealer this weekend and looking at their models. I would like the most bang for the buck and not sure which way to go. Seems like it would be nice to buy from a local dealer but dont' know about reliability for the Garden Leisure series. Any suggestions on brands, etc. Thanks in advance. I think they are now selling the Platinum III http://www.platinumhottubs.com/. If you want to spend a bit less, it might be worth looking at. We paid $5,000 for ours and its pretty much loaded. James Your local dealer does not carry a high end line? Garden leisure is a lower end line but they are reasonably reliable and a fair value, same as the brand mentioned above, but you will atleast have the local service. There must be other local dealers in your area, if you want a dealer for delivery and service. Ask you HS dealer about there value Tiger River line. Yesterday my wife and I went and did a wet soak in a Hot Springs Envoy and really enjoyed it. Price is around $8700.00 with some additional options tossed in. I have a bad back injury and this spa seemed to really hit the spots that I feel may give me some benefit. I went there thinking about the Sovereign and came away liking the Envoy better.
