Plain and simple, someone was trying to sell you ozone and stay on budget. It is not uncommon for builders to undersize some equipment to keep the build on budget. I have seen it happen many times. After all, the builder does not have to live with taking care of the pool once it is completed! to any builders out there who think I am being harsh can you HONESTLY say that you have never seen or heard of this happening?
