razoo125
I replaced the spa pack a week ago, and BAM, I am getting an HH code every couple of days, and this morning, it was a DY message(i disabled the ozone last night)! I replaced the pump about a year ago, and it seems to be working just fine. I put in a new filter and the water is at the proper level. Balboa says that there may be an air pocket by the heater, or that the ozone is broken. I need to replace the ozone cartridge, its been 4 years, and the ozone light doesn't even come on anymore. How can I get the air pocket out of the heater tube. I loosened the big plastic nut that attaches to both sides of the heater, and water came out right away, no air. Do I have to drain the entire tub? The shaft on the motor turns freely, so the motor is definately not frozen. This frustrates the heck out of me. Please let me know what you think is causing the HH and DY message. Could I have gotten a bad spa pack?
ChaiSTi
The 'HH' code indicates that one of the sensors detected overheat in the heating manifold of 118*F. The "dY" code indicates a lack of water flow through the heating manifold. Either you have insufficient flow or air bubbles through the heater or there's an issue with your sensors. Double check the sensor connections or replace the sensors. It's possible that you could have gotten a bad pack.
