Name Of Spa

Hi to all.

I have acquired a spa (minus pump/heater/blower and controls) and plan

to rebuild it as a project!! I can't seem to find a manufacturers name on it

It appears to be a 3/4 person spa and the only clue to the make is

a large "H" in a palace script embossed on the top of the shell.

It appears to have Waterway jets & filter.

Any Info much appreciated.

Cheers

Glenn

pics?

Here is some pics of spa that I am trying to identify.

Also in Pic 2 it shows a little recess in the spa, its about 3/4" deep, clear

plastic open on the back side and threaded (don't know what it is)

Also in pic 3 the white jet seems missing something or is it a weird jet?

In pic 4 circled section is a hard plastic section in the air line that as a

small outlet on the side for a small pipe. any ideas as what this hooked

up to?

I can take more detailed pics if required

cheers

Thanks all for your input

I have tracked down the Make and model Its a Heritage Spa " Riverside". I think maybe its an

Australian Manufactured spa hence the make would not be known in the States.

The spa is a current model so cant be too old and I got it up the local tip (dump) Someone had thrown a spa (in great condition) complete except for the $$$$ bits ie: Pump/blower/control /ozonator/ control pad!!!

Now my next question is this spa is a rebuild project and as I need to purchase these major items do

I go with the original items for this spa or can I maybe improve the specs for the same $'s or less.

Any suggestions as to spa packs / 2 speed pumps or dedicated circulation pump/ do I really need

an ozonator?? etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I guess I want to end up with a spa that works well economical to run and at the end of the day is salable.

My last spa project started with my wife buying a shell on ebay and me building it a frame and plumbing it up with secondhand pump/heater & blower. Looks good. runs well but a bit rough under the hood!! and wouldnt sell well.

The original specs of the Heritage spa are as follows:

Air Jets - 20

Air Manifold Outlets - 22

Thanks

I'm not sure what a 3.6BHP pump would translate to as far as actual HP but with 20 jets I think a 2.5HP continuous should be fine. I would also crank the heater up to at least a 4.0 kW, 185 gallons not much so should heat up pretty fast. Does the spa appear to be plumbed for a 24 hr circ. pump?

Edit: It appears that this spa may have been designed for 110V applications? What size is the plumbing?

Thanks ChaiSTi

I'm pretty sure that it would originally been 240v (being Australia) but as there are no electrical components on I can't be sure.

The water plumbing is 2" and the air plumbing is 1.5".

I'm sure its not plumbed for a 24hr circ pumb. I'm probably looking at using something like a

Waterway 3hp 2 speed 2" side pump. Heater/controller, blower and top control still undecided.

If I order these items from my local dealer it would be cheaper to buy a new spa!!

e.g. Waterway 3hp 2 speed pump: US $189 Same pump Australia: $1200 AU

Now I don't begrudge a business man a profit margin (I'm in business myself) BUT REALLY!!

On that note anyone suggest a competitive company in U.S that is International Order friendly?
