BrueG
Hi all, I recently moved into a house with a 2K4 Beachcomber 350. It worked fine, but then the other night I went to turn on the jets again but I hit the heater button by error; I realized what I did and immediately hit the jets button, this normally puts the hot tub into standby mode. (still getting to the two button controls ) Anyhow, when I hit the jets button it completely shut the unit off, no display, nothing, and I can’t get it to come back up. I figured I blew a breaker, but everything is in place. I called Bachcomber’s and they said that it must be the two 30 amp time delay fuses. I replaced them today (had to order them in), but still nothing. Completely dead. Does anyone have any suggestions to check or try before I call pay for service? I don’t want this to be a expensive id10t error Thanks in advance.
mrfixit
No, this is not an idiot error so have comfort friend. There is another issue going on and you were just lucky enough to be pressing buttons when it happened. If the curcuit breaker has been reset properly and you changed the appropriate fuses, there is littleelse that could cause that problem. I suggest checking the 30 amp fuses with a continuity tester (1 may be bad even though it is brand new). Also with your meter, check the line voltage where it connects to the tub with the circuit breaker on. BE VERY CAREFUL. Check that the leads are connected properly to the terminal block. If these all test ok, then I am sorry to say that you may have a bad circuit board

It will little glass type fuse
