It is recommended for our Kayaks, Drysuits, grill covers, etc. I place an extra queen sized comforter I have on top of the hot tub cover and in addition to the insulation it provides, it keeps the sunlight off of the cover as well. There is a company in colorado making a product called spa slip that goes over your spa cover and can even get your favorite team logo on it. saw it on youtube looked pretty cool.
