  1. If the filter cycle duration is set at f2 it will filter the water 2 hours out of 12. If it is set at F8 it will run for 8/12 or 16 hours out of 24. In economy mode it will still run filter cycles just not turn the heater on if there has been heat loss between filter cycles. If it is set at FC it will filter continuously 24/7. Please check it and let us know what it is currently set at so we know if this is the problem or if we need to dig deeper.
  2. Sorry will need one more photo of the little red square along the bottom edge of the circuit board. It has little white up/down switches on /in it and is titled "Switchbank A". If you look at the schematic top right it will say how you want the "dip" switches set. We just want to make sure it is all set properly. When the pump quit was it hot to the touch? how long can you keep your hand on the pump?
  3. Post photo of the circuit board and the schematic on the inside cover.
  4. Check your filter cycle duration. If set to high it will seem like it is always running.
  5. Some topsides are held in place from underneath. 2 screws go through the topside before the overlay is put in place. Some will have butterfly nuts holding it, Some have a small compression fitting that pulls up and squeezes the topside in place from underneath. Some just have the double sided sticky foam holding it down. Always a good idea if you can get up inside the cabinet and feel for a butterfly nut or holder before prying up on the topside and breaking it.
  6. that blk wire has a bare spot that needs attention
  7. Ok I am just west of Milton. I have a circuit board repair guy in Guelph. Contact Jason @ CRR Technologies and tell him Kurt sent you. https://www.ccrtechnologies.ca/ 1.519.766.6993
  8. The heater light indicator is on and solid when testing? Because there is no burnt area on the back does not mean the relays are good. If you have 240 coming in to the board and the heat light is on and no error codes on the topside with no power coming off the board at the quick connect you need to find an electronics shop that can replace the relays. I normally have them do all the relays on the board.
  9. Was a flush done a month ago or just a drain and refill?
  10. Run some Ahh-Some through it... Don't want it coming back.
  11. @FromFargo Here you go...$38.00 USD https://www.hottuboutpost.com/coast-spa-volcano-led-2007-cc2107368/ https://coastdepot.coastspas.com/cc2107368-cc2107368 Page 102.. 2016 Coast Spa Parts Cat. here: http://coastspas.info/download/Coast Spas Parts Catalog 03172016.pdf
  12. Need to see where in the spa these jets are located for context. What size is the hole in the acryllic?
  13. Ok Remove the heater quick connect and inspect the prongs inside the quick connect to ensure they are good then test it there for power coming off the board when the spa is calling for heat. If no power remove the circuit board and have a look on the back for burnt or darkened areas around the relays. You have verified you have 240V at the red and black incoming wires? red to blk = 240V I can see something metallic looking just above the heater quick connect behind the white Balboa sticker...What is it?
  14. Suggest you test for 240V across J100 and J101 when the spa is calling for heat and verify you have proper voltage coming off the circuit board. Might have a bad relay and the spa is only heating on 120V and that is why it is taking so long to heat now.
  15. They have a distinctive look and the equipment area is distinctive as well. Seen a few over the years.
  16. Gulf Coast Spas. Went out of business 2009. Model LX9000 I think. See here: http://www.gulfcoast-spas.com/gulf-coast-lx9000.html Parts here: https://www.spashopper.com/Default.asp
  17. Speed costs money.. how fast do you want to go? What's your budget Where in the world are you located? What dealers are within 40Km of you What brands do they sell What are the dealers reputations The best hot tub is one that fits your budget and family needs sold by a reputable dealer.
  18. Depends on your budget and your families needs. I have no idea about prices. If you are buying through a reputable dealer you are likely going to get better service than if you bought through a big box store or an online seller like Wayfair. Are you looking for a 120V plug and play or a hard wired 240V spa?
  19. Freestyle Spas is a division of Leisure Manufacturing located in Grimsby Ontario Canada. LM is owned by Jacuzzi. These spas I would consider as budget or entry level spas. Small jets, no frills, marginal insulation but have their place in the market. They will do the job. Where are you located?
  20. I have seen heater elements covered thick in scale that worked but not very well. It is possible that one leg of the heater is not working due to a failed relay and the element is only getting 120v instead of full 240V. Need to test for power coming off the circuit board to make sure it is getting 240V to the heater when the spa is calling for heat. Do you have a multi meter and know how to use it safely to test for power? Post photos of the circuit board and the schematic on the inside cover if there is one
  21. Depends...What brand of spa and what topside controller you have. Post pics. If you are going to order a pack online just because they have it posted does not mean they have one in stock. I always recommend you contact seller directly to verify before ordering. You might also have to program the new pack through the lower level programming and will need to know what program number is used. You can also contact Gecko directly with questions. They are usually very helpful. https://www.geckodepot.com/contact/contact_form.aspx 1.800.784-3256
