Its busted up. I drained the pool to expose it and its got 2 wires going into it. It threads into a pump return in the main part of my pool. Guessing its a temp sensor?

I need to replace. Plastic was all broken

Thanks
Aaron

Says link is broken, can you repost the pic?
It's a chlorine generator! Not a salt water generator (SWG)!
Factory Warranty/Service for:
Jandy, Pentair, Sta-Rite, Raypak, Polaris,
and Paramount pool cleaning systems.

Its some type of chlorine generator. I would remove all components of it and replace it with a more well known brand where the cell will be at the equipment.

Im gonna say its some sort of copper system as those plates look to be copper. If so disassemble & go with something else. Its definitely something I havent seen in 12 yrs of pool work

I have never seen one of those. Is there any writing on it anywhere?

You can't manage what you don't measure. Get a good test kit. I recommend the Taylor K-2006 for chlorine or the Taylor K-2106 for bromine.

THANKS!

I think you're right!

I looked and there is an abandon Pure and Clear Controller for Salt water, I traced the wires from the controller to the pool return line, which has wires going into the PVC line near the pump.

Since this system has been off-line, I'll cut the wires and put in a normal return.

Appreciate the support for a new pool owner.

Aaron
