  1. You are not going to be able to bypass the flame sensor on an LJ. Make sure the flame sensor is not touching the burner or grounded in any way, such as water or carbon on the insulator. You can add salt to the spa to lower its freezing point. Chlorine generators run on about 26 lb. per 1000 gallons. You do not have to have a CG to put salt in a pool or spa. You can always drain it later if you like
  2. The drain may not be a drain at all , but a return. Perhaps this was once a fountain or a spa that was abandoned due to leaking plumbing. There appears to also be only one drain in the pool and the spa also. I would reccommend you hire a pool pro to do an inspection. (or send a LOT more photos - dont forget the equipment)
  3. This a non-issue for anyone with lots of experience plumbing PVC. It sounds like you are a DIY'r .You may want to save yourself the trouble and hire a pool pro or plumber to install.
  4. I could not find a manual. The thing allows you to turn what ever is connected to it on/off and progam pump run time and thats about it. You can switch from pool to spa but it will not allow you to set temps. It may work, but is a dinosaur, 8-track player, betamax kind of thing.
  5. I will look to see if I can find a copy. If I do I will let you know. Otherwise I suggest you purchase a Aqualink RS8 conversion kit P/N:7092
  6. Its some type of chlorine generator. I would remove all components of it and replace it with a more well known brand where the cell will be at the equipment.
