Balboa GS523DZ Suddenly switched to Fahrenheit and no circulationpump power

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I just bought a secondhand spa that I am trying to renovate and all was well today filling it up for the first time after fixing some leaks.
But after a while I could suddenly see that it switched betwen Fahrenheit, back and forth in the display and then it got stuck on Fahrenheit.
I did a powerreset and that made the circulationpump stop running and it wont start again. I tested the circulationpump and ran it thru the aux-outlet and pump 2 outlet and it is working fine.
So my theory is that somehow it is ignoring all the dip-switch settings now which means fahrenheit and no circulationpump along with no blower and 60Hz operation.
Blower is on the dip-ON position but I can confirm that now when I press the blower button it does not show any icon for blower ON as it did before.

Anyone seen this before? Is there maybe some cable that is loose or as I think its likely something on the circuitboard not getting power to the dip-switches.

Thanx for all help and suggestions
