I have replaced pumps, plumbing, gutted the insulation and fixed piping after rats got into it, replaced the spray foam, and on and on... The point is, I have a lot of time invested and I am quite attached to it. Now I have discovered a new and more serious problem... these 7.1Hp red Monster Flow pumps with the front discharge wet end are discontinued.... as are replacement impellers. I have 4 working pumps, but only 3 impellers and seals are no issue (so luckily I have 1 spare)... If anyone knows of any old stock hiding somewhere I'd love to know about it. The Waterway part number is 310-2600. As an option later on, can I use a 5hp executive wet end on those 7hp motors? I know they will fit physically, and that I will need to do some ugly plumbing, but will the motor destroy the lower rated wet end or would it work OK?
