The part in question was pulled from near the control center. It is a PVC reducer that goes from 1.5 inches to 3 inches, and had a likewise piece that was glued together that went from 3 in inches to 1.5 inches. This essentially split in half due to weather. The pics are from where we cut half out of the hot tub. I can identify all of the PVC parts fine. However, no one so far has seen a metal piece like this one in the PVC. It almost looks like a sediment recessed filter or something like that. I am trying to order new parts to rebuild/replace and have no idea what this metal piece might be called.
