AndyBondy Posted July 1, 2023 Report Share Posted July 1, 2023 This 2011 Twilight 8.25 Hot Tub has 2 pumps, #1 - 2 speed, #2 - Hi speed. There is NO circ pump. The topside is the VL702S. After power up and purging, Pump 1 always runs. I can switch it to high speed from the topside jet button and when I depress the button again, it changes to low speed. Depressing the jet button again changes to high speed. The manual indicates that depressing the jet button should cycle the pump from low speed to high speed and then OFF. it does not happen. Is the manual wrong? Can I not turn off the Pump #1 ( Temperature is set below the water temp.) ? Or does Pump #1 always have to run? Thanks for any help. CanadianSpaTech Posted July 3, 2023 Report Share Posted July 3, 2023 Check your filter cycle duration. Should run a filter cycle F2= for 2 hours 2x per day.
