spa rookie Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Hey all- I think I have narrowed in down to the Sundance Optima and just accepted the fact that me (at 6'4") and my fiance (at 5'3") aren't going to both fit in every seat...so quit looking for that...it is physically impossible. Anyway, we really like the Sundance Optima for many reasons and I was wondering what a "good buy" would be in terms of price for a 2005 or 2006 model (no stereo). Thanks all! -Rookie Quote

Thanks all! -Rookie Rookie - Have you looked at any other spas that have deeper than average seats - I am 6'5". It seems like most I've looked at, even in the deepest seat, I've had to scoot down a bit to get waterline over my shoulders. Currently looking at the Sundance Bahia. I like the foot jet dome like the Bahia and the Optima. Thanks for any help. Quote
Chris H Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I would say $8,500 for a 2005 and $9,200 for a 2006 Optima. Quote
Rafterman45 Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 I would say $8,500 for a 2005 and $9,200 for a 2006 Optima. The Sundance Optima is one of 4 differnt brand/model tubs we are looking at. The quote we got from a local dealer here in the Puget Sound area was $9,995.00. A discount was offered for the '06 model of $1,000.00 or 20% off for the '05 model. Quote
makailey1 Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 I'm 6-2 and found the Beachcomber 750 to be the deepest and most comfortable, go give one a try, works for both of us Quote
Hot N Wet Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 D1 has some of the deepest seats you'll encounter. Even if it's just for schticks and grins get a wet test in a Serena Bay. It's D1's cream of the crop. I personally have to adjust myself to stay above the water line and I'm 5'11''...should work out great for you and your wife as it has multilevel seating. Also, it's convertable to an aqua fitness system in a way. Basically an underwater bowflex. I don't think you'll find a more compatable spa, but good luck. Quote

A spa higher than 36" a booster seat is usually required. OTher than that the D1 is really sharp Quote
