Roadking98blue
Hi all, I am draining my Sundance Altamar (2001) this weekend to repair a leak. A long time ago the footwell lamp went out and I just never replaced it. Just started to irritate me so need to fix the light. I know it’s probably an easy fix but have scoured the net, manuals etc. but do not see an easy way to replace it. anybody got any experience with this. Thanks in advance. CanadianSpaTech
See top half of page 94: https://www.filtres-spa.com/img/cms/Sundance Spa Parts.pdf They have used many light systems over the years. Let us know if you see a part number that matches what you need and might be able to advise from there. In short if its the bulb or multi coloured LED that is burnt out you will have to get to the backside of where the light holder is in the bather area. Test fuse on circuit board first
Roadking98blue
Hi and thanks for the quick response and manual. The lamp and assembly on page 94 as you mentioned look to be inline with what is in my tub. The fuse is good so either the bulb burned out or corroded contacts. The issue I have is how to access the bulb. Do I need to remove the assembly from inside the tub? It looks like a simple twist lock. The lamp is not accessible from behind the controller box. Usually bulb replacement is done from inside the cabinet. If pack is in the way you might have to remove it or tip it forward.
