CanadianRodder
Hi Everyone. We’ve been Bullfrog owners for about 1.5 years. When we received our spa (A6), we found that one half of the interior lights wouldn’t work. The dealer sent a tech who used various patch cords to get the lights to work. We subsequently noticed that, if we turned on the lights when the pumps were inactive, pump 1 (we have the optional second pump) would start simultaneously. It wasn’t a coincidence as we tested it many times. We contacted Bullfrog support who said that it was normal for this to happen which we found hard to believe. We sometimes use the tub with the pumps not running so as to simply enjoy the hot water. We subsequently went to the showroom where we had someone turn on the lighting on one of the floor models and the pump didn’t start. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks. Couch67
Hi, I have a Dynasty Spa with a Gecko control / spa pack, and my pump indeed turns on when I turn the spa light on. I think the newer Bullfrogs use Gecko controls too?
