Susanj
I have never seen such low pH levels as since I switched from bromine to chlorine. I will initially get a yellow color in the tube, not pink , and this can be after only 3 days of non use.
ratchett
Granular Dichlor chlorine is acidic and will pull pH down over time. Low pH is acidic and causes irreversible damage when left untreated, high pH causes scale which is reversible damage. My dealer has me boosting pH when it's lower than 7.5, and letting it settle back down naturally with granular chlorine usage.
