Sundance User
I have a 2013 Sundance Altamar Spa that is leaking about an inch of water per week. I got some Leisure Time Leak Seal hoping this will tie the Spa over until the spring when I can do a more thorough check. The instructions say to turn off the heater, ozonator and blower. Can this be done on a Sundance Spa? I figured I can turn the heat down but turning off the others? Any help would be appreciated.
RDspaguy
First of all, most leaks are in the equipment area and cannot be fixed with that crap. Remove the side panel to access the equipment and check there. It is probably a shaft seal or o-ring. Second, fix-a-leak is the worst kind of band-aid, and can cause more problems than it (temporarily) solves. To do as they recommend you will have to disconnect the components electrically at the circuit board.
