DougA
I have been using AquaChek MPS 3-in1 test strips AND AquaChek Yellow - Chlorine 4-in-1 Test Strips to measure PH and Alkalinity. The AquaChek MPS 3-in1 test strips show substantially lower PH and Alk than the AquaChek Yellow - Chlorine 4-in-1. What test do you like for Ph and Alk? Do you find the AquaChek MPS 3-in1 test strips OR AquaChek Yellow - Chlorine 4-in-1 to be more accurate for Ph. and Alk? Thank you!
RDspaguy
Strips are notoriously unreliable. Get a kit. I use taylor k2005, but it does not have an mps test.
PNW Soaker
I couldn't imagine completely disregarding strips because they're so convenient but ya it looks like you have to take it with a grain of salt and if you have some real problem you're trying to diagnose you might need better accuracy with better testing. RDspaguy
Then get hth individually wrapped test strips. Those at least are protected from humidity and wet hands ruining them.
