Gwired
Hi All, I have recently purchased a used Prodigy that I need to wire up. However, my shed does not have enough service to upgrade to 220 and the 50 amp circuit. It only has 30 amp service and that runs two pool pumps. This Prodigy was modified to run on 220. Is there a way to get it to revert back to 110? I know that pump and heater will not run at same time and I think I'm ok with that. Will that effect winter operations? Unless I can get additional service from the electric company I'm sunk :-(. Getting 100 amp circuit there as it is about 100 yards from the service and no direct shot. Thanks, Garrett
Hot Spring Official
You can have a Prodigy run on 110 Volt 20 amp service. Check with local dealer to get them to set you up with wiring up a cord. You will also need a dedicated 20 amp plug for the spa. Dealer can help with those requirement as well. KevinWLeJeune
I have a 2012 model prodigy that is 120v. Due to the heater not working while pump is running I would like to convert to 220. I have the wiring to the plug Is this as easy as changing the wiring in the panel ? Or would I have to change any parts ?
