heating a durasport g2

We just got a durasport g2 . Two nights ago our temp was t 100, last night was 95 and today is 85. Any ideas on why we are losing heat so fast?

You do have an insulated cover on the tub when not in use?

Is the heater working and are you heating it up each day?

My tub loses about 4°c (around 9°f) overnight. I have a floating temperature gauge which reads about 34° to 36° after being at 37- 38°c the night before, I also have a thermometer at the bottom of the bottom of the footwell and it reads a good 10°c lower (ie 22°c) in the morning compared with the one on top. After turning on the circulation pump the temperature equalises out to around 32°c to 34°c all over the tub.

Well I am new to the hot tub world as well and I'm having difficulty in getting my Durasport to heat. I've had it 24 hours and it's only reached 89 degrees. I'm running it on 110 and maybe this is normal for the slow increase in temp. The hard cover has been on the entire time with the exception of when I was admiring it.. lol. I made sure that it is in standard mode a few hours ago so I guess we'll see. Also, does anyone know if the heater functions when the jets are on? I need a hot tub for dummies manual I guess : /

With any 110v hot tub, the heater only runs when the pump is on low speed.  Turn the pump on high speed, the heater shuts off.  Your heater is also only 1Kw or 1.5Kw so the heat times are slow, about a degree an hour.  Depending on what temp you started at, 89 degrees after 24 hours could be correct.
