shodges Posted December 7, 2016 Report Share Posted December 7, 2016 So I have a CalSpa 2100 from the early 90's .. tub is in great shape but the pump just went bad. It's the old heavy duty dual wet end pump that is super hard to replace and pretty expensive. I know I can retrofit the plumbing and go back with a conventional 56 frame pump but I'd rather NOT do that unless I just have to. Any guidance ...or know of any dually's for sale? Thanks! Cusser Posted December 11, 2016 Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 Is the motor bad, or is the issue with the pump part (wet end) ? Motors can be replaced or repaired, and so can the seal or impeller in the wet end. Trying to retrofit with something else might be more involved than the trouble....
