michaelwm Posted July 19, 2015 Report Share Posted July 19, 2015 We just bought and fixed up a used 2006 Hot Springs Grandee. I'm bummed after delivery to realize that the stock manufacturer cover folds such that the Cover Cradle II is "officially" only supported when mounted to the side of the tub (when looking forward at the control panel). We'd much prefer the cover to fold in the other direction, and to mount the Cover Cradle on the "back" of the tub (the far side from the control panel). Does anyone know if the Grandee's cabinet will support that? And does anyone have any tips on after-market cover manufacturers who will both make a cover that folds in the other dimension AND insert the right metal lugs into it to support the Cover Cradle? Hot Spring Official Posted July 20, 2015 Report Share Posted July 20, 2015 Hi Michael, you can purchase a cover that opens from to back or side to side from an authorized Hot Spring Spas dealer. The front to back opening covers are available in both Ash Gray and Espresso Brown. This will allow your Cover Cradle to be used the other direction.
