JazzVancouver
Hi all, new to site and new pool owner (bought a house) with no instructions on pool and spa. The setup is pool, raised spa (5' higher than pool), 2 waterfalls (one drains to pool, one higher one to hot tub). The recent problem is ever since I had a pool guy repair my leaking pump my spa seems to drain down to the bottom of the skimmer level in several hours. My setup has the pool pump and spa pumps on all the time, there is no timer only hard shut off. Any thoughts on what I can check? Thanks in advance! JazzVancouver
Update, it looks like the spa is draining down to just below the jets. Not sure if this makes a difference to troubleshooting though? Thanks in advance for any help!
Aquapoolguide
I would say to check the spa check valve, hope this helps.
Pool Clown
And or the valve actuators.
BackyardPoolnSpa
Usually just a clog or bad check valve on the spa return line specifically. Make sure all valves have good seals and that the valve actuators are still opening and closing entirely. If you have a constant spillway, its usually the check valve on that line specifically. Hope this helps! Trey Backyard Pool & Spa Gastonia, NC 28056
