syncman
Replaced lower 6 gaskets, and fixed leak. Filled a bit more and found another leak. A crack. How would I fix this? From below or above. or both? http://www.flickr.com/photos/58982425@N02/6124053315/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/58982425@N02/6124594884/
ChaiSTi
Have you contacted your spa manufacturer / dealer about a possible acrylic repair kit? You're going to have to use a rotary grinder to rout out the crack. Sandpaper to smooth out the edges and a heat gun to cure the filler. It's fully cured in about 10 minutes, lol
Spa_Guru
Determine first if it is only the acrylic (blue) layer that is cracked, depending on the manufacturer, some used materials no stronger than the acrylic, and they can crack clear thru. The coloring on your remaining jets, and the gasket problems with them tells me you have a spa that has not had the greatest of chemical care, is probably 15+ years old, and likely to drive you nuts with failing glue joint nusiance leaks. Don't wall it into that room you are building.
