MikeVB
I have a 1994 Hot Springs Prodigy which I just purchased used. The controls are rather basic, I'd imagine, but effective. There are only two outside/initial jet-activating buttons (albeit a half-dozen or more air control and jet selectors inside the tub). Regarding the former, I don't fully understand the difference between the "Jets 1" which ostensibly one turns on to get the massage/jet-action thing going, and the "Cleanup Cycle" button which is earmarked for running 10 minutes when/as you add your chemicals. Practically speaking, won't both buttons do the same thing (excepting the "Cleanup Cycle" button is timed to run only 10 minutes)? I guess I'm asking if the Cleanup Cycle actually does something more specifically desirable for chemical additions. Thanks.

Nope just shuts the pump off after 10 min, so you don't have too
Peteyboy
I use the clean cycle for 2 things...when I add chemicals (keep the cover open) and I use it as a timer for how long I'm in the spa. My wife likes the spa very hot compared to me.
