Shopping In The Nw

We are redoing our backyard and are shopping for a spa. I've been to many of the dealer in-town (portland, OR) and I don't seem to be able to get the kind of prices that I have seen reported on here. I usually do very good in getting the best possible deal when buying anything else but I have been getting nowhere with most dealers around here.

Here's what I have so far.

Hotspring Vanguard : 9600-10100 (depending on options)

Hotspring Grandee : 10800-11300 (depending on options)

Caldera Hawaiian : 7460

Caldera Niagara : ~9300

CalSpa Classic 22 CS22: 6921

All those prices seem high. The Grandee is our favorite followed by the Niagara but I can't seem to get anyone to budge much from those prices.

HotSpring might be able to move a little on the Grandee (they have a couple left from a warehouse sale ). I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I'll be visiting the Sundance dealer tomorrow.

Anyone else add experiences buying those brand in this neck of the wood ?? Or does anyone have recommendation for other models that we should be looking at that we might get a better deal for ? (we don't want a lounge, we have not been able to find any that me and my wife are both comfortable in).

Those prices are about 2k higher per Hotsprings model that they are where I am located in SE. Washington about 200 miles from Portland. It is amazing to me the price markup from one geographic location compared to another so close in distance. I know it really isn't too feasible to buy from a dealer so far away, but maybe you can use that information to negotiate a lower price. Those prices seem outrageous to me knowing what I could get them for here.

Another place to go is Costco home in Kirkland WA! They will sell that Calspa 22 at $4500.00 depending on options! Go Costco!
