waterboy Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 We have now had our Pacific Calypso tub for 5 months now and are still loving it. We are in it every day and the sports jet package is still working like a charm after hiking biking or soccer. The bromine generator and ozone is still keeping the water cystal clear after 5 months and all We have to add is Ph decreaser now and again as the Ph tends to rise. This could be due to aeration? One thing we have learned is to turn off the jets you are not using if you want to have an ultimate massage in the seat you are sitting in. With the two speed pumps this is not neccessary but sometimes you want to feel as if someone is walking on your back. Let me know how you like your spa and whether you have learned any tricks. We have also found that it is almost too energy efficient. On a hot day the temp will not go down. I think the circ pump in the equipment compartment keep the spa at the same temp. We have use broom sticks to raise the spa cover on both sides and open up tyhe pump compartment to allow total ventilation and this brings the temp down for a cooler night soak. We have an excellent dealer and I still have to get around to sending him my thank you and let him knoew how much we love our tub and the service he has provided.
