  1. I put sealant under the black trim plate and used that to hold it in place. It comes with a self-adhesive backing, but it was two piece and I didn't like it so I used sealant instead.

  2. I've been using dish soap and water on the exterior cover (then dry and apply 303 Protectant). But is bleach the best option for the inside cover? Or is that too aggressive on the vinyl? So far I've used a heavy concentration of cleaning vinegar + water + splash of d-limonene citrus extract

  3. The new pack did come with all the needed cords. I did have to change the red and black wires on my pump as this pack was running the high speed pump instead of the low speed pump while heating. I opened the hole up for the controller and cut the plate down some to fit. The pack was a direct replacement for the old one and went in very easy.

  4. Thank you all for the input. It is slimy and a bit stretchy. I’ll try the vinegar trick just in case. I’m thinking may be a bad case of biofilm or white water mold that was hiding in the corrugated areas of the jet tubes. When we started seeing little traces of it in the tub, we started treating the water and now more is coming out. I’m hoping that means it’s dying and releasing from the tubes but I’m scared we may have to burn the whole unit with the eternal fires of damnation…or call a pro. I’ll give the Ah-some purge a try too. Winter is coming and we’re in AK. We take hot tubing seriously.

  5. @CanadianSpaTechis right. You will be rebuilding tge frame, cabinet, pkumbing, and probably equipment, if you can manage to move it with no frame and not damage the shell. Run, don't walk, in the opposite direction. You don't want it, and they are trying to avoid the $500 or so it will cost them to get that junk out of their yard. Don't be the sucker that falls for it. Between myself and Canadaguy you have over 50 years of repair experience telling you not to touch it. You should listen.

  6. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS SPA! You are being suckered. I will bet a $20 donation to my local food bank that when you go to pick it up the bottom will fall out. Free Spas are never free and that one is a money pit
