mcw53 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Don't know about your first question, but assuming you're using a form of chlorine as a sanitizer, I would recommend the Taylor K-2006 Test Kit. Best price I've found is here. Quote
hrustar Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 THere is a digital reader. Never used it, but have consider it. Wonder it anyone has used it. Not as complete as a Taylor kit, but you may not want/need that much detail. Depends on your sanitation approach. http://www.spadepot.com/shop/AquaChek-TruT...it-P842C60.aspx Quote
styro Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 I just purchased ColorQ digital tester made by LaMotte and works perfect for me. The price 150$ for pro+ should last me at least for a year with liquids. http://www.lamotte.com/pool_spa_water/new_products.html Quote

It only does free chlorine/ bromine , PH and ALK though. Watch the Color Q on the calcium hardness reading. It is the only one in that test system I have had issues with. Quote
