Divrlou
My tub goes up about 7 degrees an hour. Is this about average? How many degrees per hour does yours go up?

You're in the ballpark. There are lots of variables here. How big is your tub - is it a 2 person tub or an 8 person tub holding 500 or more gallons. Is is a 110v model with a 1 kW heater element or is it a 240v model with a 5.5 or 6.0 kW heating element. I have a 450 gallon tub with a 240v 5.5 kW heater and I see the temperature rise about 5 degrees per hour. Ken
