ESRPERFORMANCE Posted September 7, 2007 Report Share Posted September 7, 2007 Hi , Im new in this forum , maybe I can get some help , I ordered a CAL SPAS SWIM SPA Model FP2400 From a Local Dealer in Miami Called California Grills And Spas on June of this year , I left a deposit at their store for $8000.00 and they told me it will be 6 weeks to get the spa in my home , 5 weeks after I left a deposit they called me that the swim spa will arrive the next week and that they needed the rest of the Money , I refused and told them that I will pay $5000.00 and leave $3000.00 to make sure everything was ok , after that they days passed , the weeks passed and i didnt get nothing , I keep calling them and calling them and all I get are stupid excuses , Now its sept , I paid over 1,500.00 to get my electrician getting my patio ready and im out of $13,000.00 . I called CAL SPAS Main Offices and they really dont care at all , I told them that part of this problem is their fault as If you search on their website by zipcode 33016 their local dealer and service center is CALIFORNIA GRILLS AND SPAS . I just wanted to post my experience with CAL SPAS so this happened to me doesnt happen to anyone else . I contacted my lawyer to file a lawsuit and I will keep you informed about the Outcome . Stevie Posted September 7, 2007 Report Share Posted September 7, 2007 Sorry to hear about that and once again, Cal drops the ball. There's no reason to pay in full PRIOR to the delivery and you had every right to refuse that. Sounds like they ran out of money and can't get it shipped until the dealer pays the manufacturer in full which has now become your problem. Call and send emails to the dealer and to Cal head office to let them know that you are contacting the local TV news station (we have a segment in ours called the trouble shooter) that airs these sort of issues and attempts to interview the parties involved for resolution. ESRPERFORMANCE Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2007 I dont think I did anything wrong to get Burned, I left $13,000.00 deposit on June 25 for a Swim Spa that I never received , The Company which I bought it California Grills And Spas in Miami they are still on Business , According to CAL SPAS They are their Authorized dealer for Miami Fl , I was given their Phone number when I called CAL SPAS To do my purchase . Im sure this guy doesnt have the Swim Spa that I ordered in stock and Im also sure that he hasnt received it , as I went to their warehouse and I didnt see any swim spas , Only regular spas there , also they told me that the driver that was delivering the swim spa had a accident on his way to my Home and that the swim spa was damaged , I asked for proof , Police report Etc , And nada only excuses and plenty of more excuses . My Lawyer sent them a letter today and see if they respond . By the way , Im still looking for a SWIM SPA ,Do you guys know any other companies , I alredy Checked THERMO SPAS And didnt Liked them , any suggestions will help ?
