Evans
I just changed my above ground pool to salt water and when I tested it the PH and Alkaline was a little low. What do I use to increase it? Thank you anyone for your help.
dynamictiger
Adjust the TA like any other pool and the pH should look after itself. HTH
Evans
Thanks a lot for the information and one more thing, do I still have to shock it like before once a week?
prawny
Hi Evans, If your salt systems can't keep free Cl2 up during high demand points on your pool then you will require a shock occasionally. You will find that out soon by regular testing of the water and hopefully keeping a log of the results ie. CCl2
