Stephanie Anderson
We purchased our home with a Tiger Spa Sumatran hot tub in the backyard. It has (2) 110v and not 220. Power goes to the tub, everything turns on, but the tub won’t heat. I had a hot tub guy come out. He discovered that one of the connections to the mother board isn’t getting power. We have an oxidizer (??) Or something that isn’t necessary so he plugged the pump into that and got it working again. It’s been 24 hrs and the tub isn’t warm at all. Any ideas? New board? Thanks! cranbiz
Please post up pictures of your control board and the wiring diagram found on the inside of the spa pack cover. Also the inside of the disconnect/breaker panel. I suspect you have a bad relay or two. Are you/significant other comfortable with doing electronic testing or if not, do you have a friend who is? There are things you can test with a multimeter such as the voltage going to the heater or ohming out the heater element to see if it's good.
