JamesBrown87
First time owner... I have an older Coleman Tahoe that has a Balboa BOARD MAAX 460 EL2000 M3 control board. My issue started with a HoT error a few days ago that reset itself once it cooled down... Except it clearly wasn't overheated, it was cool. Eventually it reset itself once it seemed to cool down and read the correct temp. A few days later there was a low level alarm but topped it off and it cleared. Then yesterday found an OHH error, that won't clear. Pump 1 will run on low for a few minutes but nothing changes on the display, still just flashing OHH. No buttons respond on the display. Tried pulling temp sensors to get them to reset, but no response. Waiting for Balboa to respond with and instruction/ white sheets for troubleshooting but need some help knowing what direction to go or how to do a manual reset. CanadianSpaTech
Take filters out and reset power. Let us know results. If Error comes back post photos of the circuit board and schematic on inside cover.
JamesBrown87
Filter removed and power reset. OHH error is still present with same symptoms. Will follow up with pictures later today.
JamesBrown87
Came home from church and now It says this. (StU) still no response on top controls.
CanadianSpaTech
STU= Stuck on... Pump appears to be stuck on... See M7 messages Here: https://www.spaparts.com.au/page/information/spa-error-codes-or-messages/
JamesBrown87
After powering down and back on, the OHH fault retuned with the same symptoms. After a minute or two of powering up, the pump 1 kicked on low for about 30 or 45 seconds then kicked off... Is there a way to reset it? Or run a diagnostic power cycle? JamesBrown87
Tried this last night and it didn't seem to help when I switched it back to normal, but came out this morning to a hot spa....?? So I guess the spa genie does exist? 😆 That was the last post on the other thread on this topic...😁 I wish there was a definitive answer to how/ why it was fixed though... My best guess is that putting it in the test mode reset something?
P-O
Hello! I got the same issue on my maax spa! I would like to know, when you put the test mode, do you only put dip switch A1 to ON and dip switch A3 ON to? Or do you put A3 to!OFF position? Thank you!
