C4tm4n
Hi all. New here, I have had a quick browse and cannot locate any previous forums relating to my issue. As mentioned I have a Grizzly Corsica hot tub. Some time ago the air valves (4No) all appeared to stop working. The pump has 2 speeds which both work. I thought it may be an air lock so after trying a few things mentioned which didn't work, I emptied and refilled the tub. This however did not work. I have since had the tub on and when removing the air valves completely and expecting water to come out nothing. I also have a waterfall and when removing the air valve water comes squirting out of that, any help is appreciated. Steve
RDspaguy
Never heard of them. Post pics. Air valves are on a vacuum and will only get water in them under certain circumstances, and only be pressurized with water in the event of a very rare failure or circumstance. The waterfall valve, though it may look the same, is a water valve.
C4tm4n
Thanks for the reply RDspaguy, the make is Grizzly Bear, which I am led to believe is a well known make, Corsica is the model. Any idea as to what the problem may be then with lack of pressure but both speeds working on the pump?
RDspaguy
Could be a number of things. Obstruction in the pump, broken impeller, broken slice valve, broken check valve, jets turned down/off, scale or deterioration of jet inserts, clogged filter, just to name a few off the top of my head. A clear and complete description of the problem would help, as will pics of your equipment. I've been fixing spas for 26 years and never heard of this brand so have no idea what's in it. If you want more than guesses, give me some info.
